Publisher's Weekly reports that
President Obama has written a children's book due out this November.
The book is called
of Thee I Sing: A Letter to My Daughters (Knopf Books for Young Readers). A tribute to Americans like Georgia O'Keefe and George Washington, it celebrates the "characteristics that unite all Americans." Obama wrote the book before he became president. Obama has made a fortune in other books he's penned, but the proceeds for this book are going to a scholarship for children with parents affected by the war who have served our country.
